The Puddle Pine (Serendipity)
In the middle of the forest beside the beaver pond stands a magnificent Puddle Pine, the last of a forest. The Paddle Whackers would love nothing more than to chop it down and use the wonderful wood. But, the wind whispers through the branches of the tree, "Leave me be! Leave me be!" Then, one day the wind doesn't blow and the Paddle Whackers are free to chop the tree down. An ecological fantasy that teaches all ages the importance of being a good shepherd of all that nature offers. A 'lost' Serendipity Book.
